Event Description

What a fantastic weekend, fine weather, blue skies, light winds and 24 degrees for 23 TUAC campers at Wenderholm. Saturday morning bush walk was easy going with a lot of good views over Waiwera, Wenderholm river and the islands of the Hauraki Gulf. 16 of us spent the afternoon canoing to Puhoi whilst the rest of the campers relaxed, sunbathed, swam on the front beach or visited Couldrey house. The shared meal on Saturday night was great. On Sunday after packing up half of us went to Waiwera for lunch - a good way to end an enjoyable weekend. An easy organised weekend, but what made it a success was the company of you fellow campers
