Guest speaker is Phil Sai- Louie. His subject is 'Rails into the Heartland- Otago Central Railway. ''How and why a railway line was built and its transformation into the Otago Central Cycling Trail and Taieri Gorge Scenic Railway.' Phil is a well-known Auckland historian who has led TUAC guided walks for us before. His talk will be of interest to those that have cycled the Otago Rail Trail and for those wanting to learn about NZ Railway History.
